Do we really need the opposite sex to make our lives work? This is just one of the questions the five women in Theresa Rebeck's
"Loose Knit" consider as they get together weekly to knit and decompress from their hectic New York lives. Lily
is the perfect hostess and mother; Liz, a celebrity journalist who hates the liars she's forced to interview; Paula, a psychologist
who wonders who she really helps; Margie, a caterer, is looking for love and all lawyer Gina wants to do is knit! Add in
Bob, Lily's husband, and millionaire capitalist Miles and the group begins to unravel. Can the women pick up the all dropped
stitches and knit their friendships back together again?

Laura DiCerto
|
(Margie) Laura was born and raised in New York City and got a degree in photography and graphic design, before the acting
bug bit her. She got her start in student and independent films, including "No Exit," which won an award at the
"Dances With Films Festival" in 1998. She was one of the co-founders of Working Girls Productions, a NYC-based theatre
company. Roles there included: Lou in the New York premiere of "Tears of Rage" by Doris Baizley, and Lucy in Could
Angels be Blessed by Nancy Kiefer. In the past two years, she performed in six successful children's shows with the Hudson
Theatre Ensemble, a Hoboken-based theatre company. She recently played the role of Patsy in the TSI Playtime series production
of "A Family Minus One," in New York City.

(Liz) Kathryn is delighted to be working with this group of talented actors. NY Theatre credits include: Dolly Dimples in
"Side Show" (Gallery Players), Mme. Popova in "The Boor" (Second Studio for Actors); Sandy in "In
the Absence" (Fashion Play Fest); Melissa in "Happening to Your Body," (Estrogenius Festival); Sonya in "Uncle
Vanya," (Second Studio); Natasha in "The Three Sisters." Regional: "Macbeth," "Ah Wilderness,"
"The Italian Straw Hat," "Androclese and the Lion," and "Carousel." Film and Television include:

Hollie Hunt
|
(Paula) Hollie is thrilled to be working with such a talented group of actors. She has done numerous tv and radio voiceover
commercials over the last 10 yrs. Favorites include: Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz, Maybelline, Ocean Spray and Maxwell House.
She was also seen in the ensemble of The Public Theatre's 2006 Shakespeare in the Park production of "Macbeth."
She received her MFA in Acting at Rutgers University in 2005. Favorite roles at Rutgers included: Emilia in "Desdemona,"
Malalai "The Afghan Women," Bully/Welfare Lady in "In the Blood" and Carol in "Unpublished Letters."

Betty McKinley*
|
(Gina) Betty has performed in regional theatre, stock, and in London and New York. For several seasons, Betty appeared with
the Eleventh Hour Theatre Collective at Synchronicity Space (Douglas S. Hall, artistic director). Other New York roles include
Dr. Stanipesky, "The Conquest of Evil," New York Fringe; Monster/Mother, "Body Politic" Manhattan Theatre
Source; Rita, "Deep to Center," Actors Outlet Theatre; and Karla, "Sentences and Words," LaMama. She
has participated in numerous festivals, including those with Circle Rep ("Rena," "Destiny of Me"), The
Ensemble Studio Theatre (multiple roles), Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimo (Signorina Palmira, world premier of Eduardo De Fillippo's
Filosoficamente "Philosophically Speaking"). Betty trained in London (RADA, LAMDA), NY (Charles Kakatsakis, Douglas
S. Hall) and holds a BFA from Syracuse University. She is a member of AEA, AFTRA, and SAG.

Brian Parker
|
(Miles) NY Theatre credits include: Fireman in "The Witching Hour" (TSI Playtime Series); Solyony in "The Three
Sisters," (Manhattan Rep); and Hal in "Picnic" (Black Nexxus Productions). Film and Television credits include:
"Snitch," "Rescue Me," "Love Monkey," "Sex and The City," "Rust," "Place
of Unrest," "The Dunes," "When She Cried." He has studied at Black Nexxus with Susan Baston. His

|
(Lily) Lisa most recently appeared as Titania in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at Theater Ten Ten. Other NY credits:
Marguerite in "Believe" (York Theatre Co.), Mrs. Morland/ Mrs. Thorpe in "Northanger Abbey," Lizaveta
Bogdanovna in "A Month in the Country" (both with Theater Ten Ten), Nancy in "Suburban Stories" (NYC Fringe
Festival), Emilie in "My Three Angels" (Producer's Club), and the Battery Park Concert Series. Regional: theatre
and opera roles ranging from Sister Amnesia in "Nunsense II" to Monica in "The Medium" TV credits include
Discovery Channel's "Go Ahead, Make My Dinner" during which she made a yummy roulade.

Douglas S. Hall
|
(Director) Douglas has worked as a director at theaters across the country. He recently directed the world premiere of "Duse's
Fever" off-Broadway. He has also directed at Williamstown Theatre Festival, Seven Angels Theater, and the Mountain Playhouse
on productions such as "The Chief," "Of Mice and Men," "Desdemona," "Down the Road,"
"Forever Plaid," "Assassins," "Merrily We Roll Along," "Sylvia," "The Lonesome
West," and many others. His professional acting credits include Robert in "The Dying Gaul," Carl in "Lonely
Planet," and Galileo in Brecht's "Galilaeo." He currently teaches at NYU/CAP 21 and teaches an ongoing scene
study class in New York City. MFA in directing from The Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.
